Election blues got you down?

Don't know any of the candidates for Library Board?

Don't know what the Board of Estimate and Taxation even is?

Wonder where you're supposed to vote?

You're not alone, and GetBoB is here to help...

We hosted two Candidate Fairs to help you actually meet candidates one-on-one, but time is getting short. You can peruse the guides listed below, or take a look at the results of a candidate questionnaire regarding the structure of Minneapolis government, produced in collaboration with FairVoteMN, The League of Women Voters--Minneapolis, and MPIRG. You'll find responses from most of the mayoral and city council candidates regarding the future of the independent boards, the municipal primary, and the make-up of the various elected bodies that run Minneapolis. You should also check out another great event--we didn't sponsor this one, but it's our kind of gig:

Future of Minneapolis Candidate Forum
Thursday, November 3rd
7 pm -- Park Board At-Large Forum
8 pm -- Board of Estimate & Taxation Forum
Linden Hills Recreation Center
3100 West 43rd Street
Minneapolis, Minnesota 55410

Come back to check out our events section (What's up with BoB?) to see what else we have planned.
Browse through the 2005 Voter Guide produced in collaboration with our civic engagement team. You can also look back at our 2004 Election Guide, which includes information about judgeships, school board, and conservation district. You can also see our first Election Guide to cover city offices, produced in 2002.
You can also see what kinds of events we have done in the past, and learn more about how we got started, by checking out our history.
